What are you reading right now?

So, what books are people reading right now? What are they about? What do you think of them? Would you recommend them?

 

I tend to read two or three books at a time. Currently, I'm making my way through the following:

• The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan
• Ishmael by Daniel Quinn

I only just started Ishmael, but The Omnivore's Dilemma is very good.

I'm currently about halfway through my first read of Pride and Prejudice. I know, I'm a terrible person for not having read it until now. I'm also reading The Bone Magician, the paraqule to The Black Book of Secrets. I think they're technically children's books, but I got BBoS for a dollar and I fell in love with it. Not sure why, but I did.  I would definitely recommend both of these, PaP because of course, and BBoS because it's just lovely and dark and awesome.

I just finished reading Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. Also finished Will Grayson, Will Grayson, and The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler. Didn't care too much for it, which is a shame because I love Thirteen Reasons Why by Asher. That's for the past five or so days. Right now I'm on The Warded Man, Clockwork Prince, and The Raw Shark Texts.

I'm currently reading "The Hobbit", so I can go all hipster when the movie comes out and I also got "The Salmon of doubt" and I refuse to believe that a book with that title can be anything less than epic.
