Nerdfighters

So, what books are people reading right now? What are they about? What do you think of them? Would you recommend them?

I tend to read two or three books at a time. Currently, I'm making my way through the following:
  • The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan
  • Ishmael by Daniel Quinn

I only just started Ishmael, but The Omnivore's Dilemma is very good.

Ohh I've read that before, it wasn't my favorite of her books but it was still pretty good :)

Re-reading ANGEL by James Patterson.

:D It hasn't come out yet.

Was it that good? o.e I can't believe that.

No.

I have my reasons for re-reading it-namely, my parody-and the smiley face was because nobody else has it.

Ah. It was the rereading about which I was wondering. I got the smiley.

I'm in the middle of like twenty books right now, because I get sidetracked when new books are put in front of me.

But the ones I've been consistently reading recently are

- Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

- Nation by Terry Pratchett

and - The Man Who Was Thursday by G.K. Chesterton

How do you like Catch-22? It's on my list, and I'll probably end up reading it. I hear mixed reviews, though.
I loved Catch-22. It was awesome. It's been a few years now though, so I don't really remember why it was awesome, just that I liked it XD
Same here, Catch-22 made me laugh my ass off when I read it. Granted that was two years ago and my sense of humor has since become much more demanding but it was funny back then.
Terry Pratchett is amazing!

Terry Pratchett is amazing! Sometimes he can be slow with a story but his books always make me laugh.

Nation was a really great book.
