Hey Nerdfighters! Since Thanksgiving is coming up, I'm asking you all the cliched yet meaningful question that many of you have probably heard a lot lately: What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for the people in my life who make me happy. DFTBAAETM (Don't forget to be awesome and eat too much!)

Permalink Reply by Alice on November 22, 2012 at 7:57am I'm thankful for living in a first world home, and the human ability to process information at such a high level.
I'm also thankful for creepy uncles everybody hates and the thankless task of sweeping floors, the frigid winter mornings, and heart wrenching breakups, the thorns on all of my rose bushes, and battling trolls on the internet.
I'm thankful for living a life of child-like and otherworldy wonder.
Permalink Reply by Julen Grace on November 22, 2012 at 9:01am I'm thankful for my friends and family. Without them, there isn't much else that matters. They're what both have helped me and continue to help me daily.♥

Permalink Reply by melissa on November 28, 2012 at 10:01am I'm so thankful for anyone and everyone who helps my school win a technology grant from Clorox by texting 2439pbf to 95248. It is an amazing opportunity that my students really need!

Permalink Reply by titus van den Berg on December 5, 2012 at 5:50am I'm thankful for the sun. Because it is the source of almost all of our energy.
Permalink Reply by Elizabeth Moore on February 5, 2013 at 2:18pm Hmm. I'm EXTREMELY thankful for my friends. I'm thankful for the internet, for teachers (especially Physics and language teachers), for Latin, for my laptop. For Morcombe and Wise and Bill Oddy and Lord of the Rings and poetry.I'm thankful to Edward Jenner and to the doctors who stopped me from dying from meningitis when I was only a few days old. I'm thankful for my ability to appreciate the world around me.
And yoghurt. Mustn't forget that.
EDIT
And woods, and the fact that my brother's not threatening to kill himself anymore. I suppose that last one's a bit more important than yoghurt...
Permalink Reply by Katie S on February 25, 2013 at 11:39am I like that people are still posting this after Thanksgiving. =)
There's the obvious: The people in my life. My two best friends and my husband and my parents. I wouldn't be the person I am without all of them, and I might not be alive today without a few of them.
I'm grateful for the AWESOME news I received last week, which is that my best friend is pregnant! She's already just over six weeks along and I"m so excited for her and oh my goodness I am going to spoil this child rotten even before he or she is born!
I'm thankful for the fact that I've gotten my writing mojo back (sort of...well, I'm working on it), and the fact that my husband's new job that he got at the end of last year is better paying than the one he had before that, and that I'm making new friends these last few months (which sounds lame but I don't make new friends very easily). And I'm grateful for this one friend I have who skips class with me to go on walks by the river whenever one of us needs to talk.
Also I'm grateful to live in a town that straddles the Mississippi River.
I could go on and on about all kinds of tiny things, but I'll spare you, haha.
