Nerdfighters

I was afraid of footstools. Apparently I fell off of one once, and from then on, I screamed every time I saw one until I was about 3.

I was also afraid of leaves blowing around in the gutter. I was on a walk with my grandma, and I was afraid of them so she told me "no big deal!" So then I said "no big duel!" Every time I saw them.

So what were you afraid of? It can be rational, irrational, whatever! Go crazy!

Crabs. And I still am. and Needles. I had bad experiences with both when I was very young.
oh god. so with you on the childhood crab fear. friggin' terrifying.
I have a MODERN crab fear haha! I hate them so much... them and Colossal Squids... basically the whole ocean scares me.
rofl crabs ^^
im still afaid of needles. i cry whenever i get shots...i remember when i got my wisdom teeth out that when i woke up the iv was still in my arm and i started balling my eyes and my mouth was stuffed with gauze(sp?) so i couldnt tell the nurse to take it out.
I laughed at the Goofy one XD But now that I think about it, he could be pretty scary :P
i was terrified of packer fans with those cheese hats god those just freaked me out
lol. I live in Wisconsin and used to see cheesehats everywhere. Not so much anymore though.
lol i live in MN and every time we see a cheesehat, we roll our eyes.
volcanoes, because I watched a movie that horrified me, and some unknown thing that lived under my bed. so to avoid the latter, I'd get a running start to my bed, and leap onto it from about three feet away so that no monster underneath could grab my feet.

thank goodness I have gotten over both of these!
Oh my gosh. Me too, on both of those. xD
And I don't even live near a volcano, but I was always terrified of the thought of it.
Also, I was hugely afraid that the world would just blow up. I remember quite clearly, lying on my bed and watching out the window for hours, looking out for explosions. No joke!
Tornadoes. I had multiple bad dreams about them. Hated the sounds trains made, too (I live across the road of a busy railroad track)
And I was also I huge chicken when if came to dark places. EVen though I never slept with a nightlight.
And of course: ghosts, zombies, scary people, strangers, masks, chainsaws, all the like.
Seriously, I was a little scardy-cat. xD And even to this day, I'm extremely jumpy, and am still scared of going into a dark upstairs or a dark downstairs.
I also will NOT sleep with my door open. I just can't do it.

Lol. ^^ Done now.
haha! same here, with the anti-volcano landscape. I'd seriously look at the mountains, see a pointy peak, and be like MOM! DO YOU THINK THAT COULD BE ONE?? DO YOU THINK? WHAT IF IT IS!!
I was so ridiculous. The one night after I saw the movie was the worst, because I couldn't sleep at all. EVery time I shut my eyes I saw lava, and if I got lucky and finally napped, I would have terrible dreams of my house burning from lava and my cats dying in it. geez. screwed me up big time.
