However, if I wanted to choose a word, it would probably be a funny one.

Like hornswoggle. It means to get the better of (someone) by cheating or deception.

And it is just a funny word. Hornswoggle.

This is difficult. "Ridiculous" is probably my most used word (other than articles, conjunctions, pronouns, etc.). But I don't know. I like the word "dappled", I like "careen", I like "inviolate". I really like the word "glom", but I think that the meaning of the word should have to do with eating a large amount of food, really shoving it down, rather than stealing or staring. I like "circumspect", and "insubstantial". "Spackle" is good too."Mellifluous" is also a great word.

But I think the best words are probably short words that carry a lot of meaning with them--"heart", "soul", "star", "eye", etc. I get a lot of mileage out of those.
