So, i know there are plenty studies on this question by Lewis Carroll in Alice in Wonderland. I would love to hear some Nerdfighteria theories!

Permalink Reply by Danno on September 13, 2012 at 1:04pm while there may be some possible answers, the most obvious being phonetic, as i suspect many of these studies have concluded, there's not supposed to be an answer. really, the joke is that the hatter is crazy, so he asks questions that he doesn't actually mean, and may not even realize he's asked.
