I got the inspiration for this discussion in another group. But anyways, you know that you're obsessed with Doctor Who when you do what?
For me, it's using my flashlight like a sonic-screwdriver to find stuff in my room, lock doors, and question people about my missing school-ID card (which I found with a flashlight I call my sonic screwdriver)  : )

When you start waering your watch witht he clockface on the inside of your wrist like Smith does.

When you find yourself imagining you're the Doctors companion all day... I even dream about it...

And walking along the highstreet or looking at impressive views and still thinking 'this would be better if I had a real Sonic Screwdriver, or there were aliens'.

When you have carried your Sonic religiously and someone else gets a new one, and you discover that yours had lost all the ridges and cracks along the main handle because of how you wore it down. This happened the other week, I was shocked.

When they play an on flight movie, and you stare at the screen the entire time, looking for Rose Tyler.

She was in a modern-day version of Much Ado About Nothing, the Shakespear thing, but I spent it going 'Come on Rose, where's your big gun and the Doctor?!'

But yea, I constantly hope she'll flicker on, yelling for the Doctor before dissappearing.

When you get angry when someone uses tardis or Darlek or any other wrong spellings;;
