Nerdfighters

So, I figured we'd get started figuring out some ideas for ridiculous fitness challenges.

I'll kick off with one area idea-
Balance
1/2 mile egg race. Post a video of you running a half mile holding an egg in a spoon and put the time in the video. (bonus points if you make the spoon [extra if it's nerdfighter related])

I think there is 3 categories for this physical, mental and awesome and no offence to any nerd fighters but also the ability or effort put into the categories is from easy to medium and then to hard

Tasks would be like this

PHYSIAL

Easy = Longest happy dance
Medium = Collaboration between nerd fighters to have basketball, soccer, volleyball or any type of game in a certain city (and if we put more effort European vs. USA [doubtful, but would be awesome])
Hard = Next major marathon i.e. New York Marathon/ London Marathon (fastest time), loosing certain amount of weight or becoming you ideal BMI

MENTAL

Easy = Chess challenge between Nerdfighter (I don’t know how the game would be played either through Youtube or not)
Medium = Rubik’s Cube challenge (quickest and no cheating)
Hard = Reading a major book and asking John and Hank to do the longest Truth or Fail about the book (i.e. more than 20 Truth or Fails long), Eating only one type of meal for a month ( reason for: motivation not to go off it and have yourself a nice salad if all our eating is microwave pizza)

AWESOME

Easy =Giving blood/ Platelets and see who had most count and less time
Medium = calculating if every Nerdfighter did give Hank and John $1oo each what island could they buy to make Nerdfighteria and would it fit all of Nerdfighterians onto the island (100,004 4 being John Hank Yeti Kathryn)
Hard = Choreographed Fight -scene cross between Matrix and Star wars (imagine all those Agent Smiths battling one another with Lightsabers ...where would you record such an awesome event )

Please think of more and put into category and effort :)
I like your idea! :) It sounds like fun!
How about a backwards worm crawling race? It could be either speed or distance. You lie on your back and crawl without arm usage and minimal bending of the knees.
I don't know if this has been discussed yet, because there are 13 pages that I haven't read through yet, but here's my idea:

Each of the ideas I did read all mentioned a points system, so when it comes to the end of the whole event, it wouldnt be fair to go by total points since there are some challenges that not all Nerdfighters can do because of physical or locational limitations, so I suggest going by the average score of all the tasks you did.

I'm not mathematician, so I'm not sure if there's any other math that would have to go into that, but that was just a thought.
Handball turnaments on public streets like find a store you can play against and get permission and play handball with random people walking by
Okay. My idea is simple:

Act like an old Super Mario side-scroller. (No, Firefox, I do not mean "stroller.") Try to get the longest distance (or time). Very rigid movements. (Like the game itself.) Preferably in a public place. One can get bonus points by getting people to come along, sing (hum) the theme, hitting things with your head while jumping, and trying to save a princess (and then find out it's actually a fungi-person at the spot the princess is supposed to be located... several times over). Please get a friend to record it and post it. Encouraging people to help you get bonus points (besides getting a friend to record it) is discouraged. Needs to be natural.

If anyone can help me find some free, good video editing software, I just might do this beforehand to give it a test run. That way I can post a video about it.

Yes. I know I posted this on the wall of the group. That's because I was too excited about my idea to actually look up. Sorry for the duplicate post.
Someone probably put this before but who can happy dance the longest.
How about the challenge that they were going to do instead of all of the ridiculous things that are being suggested, some of which are not healthy in the slightest.

Eating nothing but freshly sliced cucumbers? Seriously? That's some serious nutritional deficiency. Eating nothing but a "negative calorie" food for a day is absolutely horrible for you.

Eating as many peeps as possible? I don't even need to begin.
that is a very nerdfightastic idea.
rewatch their brotherhood 2.0 vlogs, and do pushups while watching the videos (you can take breaks between but not during vids)
I think that there should be a lawnmowing contest- with the old school push mowers that run completely on human power. I have one and not only is it an awesome green alternative to a regular gas mower but, it's a heck of a workout!
I had another idea and it would definantly decrease World Suck!-

Do some sort of Volunteering that has health benefits- raking leaves/yard work for people who aren't able, helping out with Meals on Wheels or a soup kitchen (industrial cooking is a great workout- ie. carrying heavy pots, repetative movements such as sandwich making, refilling drinks- which takes strength and skill), working with children, walk dogs for your local animal shelter, go door to door to collect money for your favorite charaties (extra points for how much money you collect), etc.

Or you could use your special nerd skills to help others- for example- work at an after school tutoring program (put those brains to work!); fix people's computers; take your favorite boardgame to a nursing home and play it with the residents; teach someone else how to paint, sew, be a blacksmith, play D&D, or whatever your passion may be.

These are just a few ideas- but I'm sure that if we thought about it we could come up with a myriad of activites that enrich not only our bodies but our minds and communties as well! :)
