I figure, any good group has an introduction section where you can kinda tell us a little about yourself. We all may have the one thing in common that brought us here (ie...we're all old farts...lol), but that doesn't mean we've all met one another.

So, here it is. I'll start things off. Name: Joshua Brant

Primary Nerdizms: I spend most of my free time on the internet. I enjoy gaming from time to time, but my preference is game and software developement, which is what I'm going to school for right now.
Age: 27

Occupation: I'm a cook at Hooters, but this summer, I'll be looking for a new job.
New News: I've gained a newfound interest in my overall health. In the last month, I've quit smoking (cigarettes and pot), cut back to eating fast food only once or twice a week, and nearly cut soda out of my diet entirely.
Old News: I served in the Marines for 5 years as an aviation communications and navigations technician.
Short Term Goals: This summer, I want to find a new job and get a gym member ship. Once I have gotten a gym membership, I plan on lifting weights 5 times a week, and running 6 days of the week, taking off Sundays. I want to get big and I want to increase my stamina, and I will.
Long Term Goals: I want to buy a house, finish school, get a job at Purdue University, and eventually, own and operate my own business.

Excellent!  A fellow equine fan and nerdfighter!  It is awesome that you work with disabled children and horses, I've always wanted to get involved in therapeutic riding, I'm sure you've seen some amazing things.  I've done some work with mustangs (http://saleauthoritymustangrescue.webstarts.com/) where a couple of my friends work (they both have a mustang and are training them).  Its a whole lot of fun and a ton of work, quite a bit different from any other horse-work I've done in my eight or so years of lessons, but very well worth it!

Long Term Goals: Most people can't tell by looking at me, but I want to be a mother more than just about anything.  I'll probably be single all my life, but I totally intend to adopt like five kids.  Well, maybe three.  Anyway, my life's plans are really all based around that, including going back to school and getting a job that pays well enough to support kids on my own.
