What are the coolest things you remember? (that you wish other people remembered too)

So, I was having a discussion today with a friend about an old post about a new updated "retro" rotary phone http://www.gizmag.com/classic-telephone-in-the-21st-century/18539/ ; Naturally it escalated into a one-up remember when match, and it was so much fun that it seemed like the perfect question to pose to this group... 

 

What are the Coolest things you remember from your childhood/adolescense/youngadulthood that you wish more people remembered?

.Teenage mutant ninja turtles the original series

.The Ghost-busters cartoon series

.Quantum leap

.Watch with mother

.Rough necks (early cgi)

.Dark water

.Milkshake on channel 5 (the era of anthropomorphic tv series; round the world in 80 days, Sindbad, etc.)

.Sonic tv series (the season where it went all dystopian future... season 2 I think)

Pretty much all the cartoons that have thus far been submitted for nostalgic browsing!  In addition:

1) Clone High  (It was hilarious and a shame it was cancelled)

2) No Doubt being a decent band

3)My lime green punk tutu.  I mean sure, none of you know it, but I know and miss the old girl.  :)

The thing that has made me happiest is finally finding someone who watched Kimba the White Lion. He's 13 years younger than me and there's a lot I talk about that he has no idea about. This means I get to introduce him to loads of awesome stuff so I don't mind too much. 

Other than that - Crystal Maze, Maid Marian and her Merry Men, and Round the Twist. I did my nails with computer/console logos the other day, kind of made me sad people didn't know the BBC Micro Owl (they could tell it was an owl) or the Commodore logo.
