Why aren't these cucumbers growing? My courgettes are thriving but cucumbers: nothing!

Hello everyone, so I was wondering if anyone could help advise me: I'd like to set up a series of community (vegetable) gardens in my home town with an emphasis on families getting a chance to grow things together with others, and everyone putting a little in and getting out of it, like having a barter market where you can exchange broccoli for carrots. Only I'm at a loss of how to start and who to talk to.

Hello everyone!
I have a favor to ask of all of you! I am part of an organization called The HP alliance, and they are right now in the middle of a competition to win $250,000, they are an incredible organization, and it would be wonderful if you would all take 30 seconds and vote! They have done a lot of really great work for the environment, and as gardeners, we can all appreciate how important that is! One thing we all have in common is this planet, and preserving it is of utmost importance! They have also done incredible work with disaster relief, literacy, genocide, and equality. You don't have to sign up anywhere to vote, except Facebook. Thank you so much!

Pickles ferment as soon as you open them anyway, canning is just a way to be able to put them in the basement and forget about em.

Cool! Good luck with your gardening.

Sidenote, even when some plants fail to grow, next month or next season they might just suddenly sprout. so dont uproot them, they may just grow :)

you don't like pickles?!? what an outrage!
yeah, I'd love to have some of yours! I just can't think why I didn't think of doing that.... I just sort of let my cucumbers rot, if I couldn't find someone to give them away to.
