First show for discussion

I would like some input on what shows people would like to watch and talk about first. Keep in mind how long the series is, what the show is rated, things like that when you make your suggestions.

well I have an idea for longer ones, we could watch "chunks" like watch episodes 9-14 for our next discussion. this would make it a lot simpler to watch longer anime. maybe for our first anime we could watch some gundam. I dont know just throwing ideas out there.

I have never heard of "chunks" I like the idea of watching part of a long series and not the whole thing. Gundam could make a good first one I'm sure there are others that would work.

There is this one other series that my friend showed me and each ark is a story by itself but contributes to the overall story, its called "Higurashi When They Cry" (just "when they cry" for the north american release). its really good, but REALLY gory sometimes and the first ark is scary especially one scene. Each ark is about 4 or 5 episodes long or at least the ones I watched where. The total first season is 26 episodes I think.

By the way when do we want to start i mean as far as i can tell me and you are the only active members in this group and we could keep throwing out ideas until the end of time. So when do we want to make our minds?

I don't know when we should start. How about in the next two weeks? How do you want to do the part of this where we talk about the show? We could do a text based chat, messages, skype just throwing some ideas out there.

How about on monday, that would give us all week to watch what we are gonna watch and we could talk about it on saturday and sunday. Skype would be awesome for doing that because we could be talking and not just writing words. I think right now we should decide what we want to watch, since you had the idea of creating this group i think you should get to decide. BTW what is your skype name.
