Hi all – I have created ‘The Compliment Campaign’. I am basically trying to encourage as many people as possible to compliment people. I only started two days ago and already I’ve gotten a fantastic response, and I am planning lots of different/fun/cool/interesting ways to get people to compliment one another!

I participate in a group called GLSEN. They have chapters in over 30 states. They do a lot of research on bullying in schools and how to prevent it. It is an excellent organization. If you are interested you can check out their website at http://www.glsen.org for more information. A friend of mine posted this on facebook after one of his friends did who probably did after one of their friends did and so on but I thought it was good and others might want to use it:

 

A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son, People call her a slut. No-one knows she was raped at 13.. People call a girl fat, No-one knows she has a serious disease which causes her to be over weight.. People call an old man ugly, No-one knows he had a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war.. Re post this if you are against bullying and stereotyping. 95 % of you won't.
