Comment by Racheljoy Capitola on December 3, 2011 at 1:37pm @ Ash: I am interested. Do you remember this website?
And LOL. It makes total sense now where they came from! What a pity. Those sparkling vamps should know by now that they can't escape their roots. We all know they are fairies. They should just let go of the vampire title, because they are making a such bad name for Dracula.
Comment by Carolyn Wisniewski on November 26, 2011 at 1:47am A suicide chick running around isn't my cup of tea. Yes I've read them, the first one a long time before it became popular and the second one. The second one ruined it and I never got back into them. Never have I seen the movies and I dont think I will. I dont like the actors, if you can call them that.

I think you would be rather interested in a website I cam upon a few years ago that was analyzing the Twilight series, comparing it to an abusive relationship,
As for Twilight being classified as a vampire book, an acquaintance and I were discussing how vampires have evolved over the years and we decided that the 'vampires' of Twilight came about when the vampires of the True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse series bred with fairies, spawning a new race of sparkling bloodsuckers that were ashamed of their fairy heritage and clung to vampire name.
Comment by Racheljoy Capitola on November 25, 2011 at 9:16pm Why do people keep calling twilight a vampire book? Its blatantly clear that the "vampires" are just mutated fairies because real vampires don't sparkle, shine, bedazzle the air, whatever it is that they do when the sun hits their skin. Ugh. I read the series in middle school. New Moon ticked me off with the fact that Bella was attempting life-and-death stunts in order to hear voices. (Not in a stable mental state, that one.) And the way the series was concluded in breaking Dawn was just ... RAWR! ... What kind of ending was that? Where is the fighting? Where is the blood? Total letdown.
I love books. I adore books. I pretty much treat them all like "my precious." But, when my friend needed something to start a campfire in her backyard, we used New Moon as starter. I swear the book shimmered a bit when it was tossed into the flames. May the poor pages rest in ashes. (But I vow never -- ever -- to partake in a book burning again. It felt so dirty. I'm very ashamed. =3=)
I. Hate. Twilight.
I read it once, unfortunately, and I have never regretted anything more.
I know!! I have a friend who wants to make me go see it with her AGAIN....I would probably scream or puke or both. >:(
Comment by Nimisha }Darth Voldy{ on November 11, 2011 at 12:54pm The last movie is coming out and people are EXCITED about it. It's disgusting! People at school go on about it. Ugh. My favourite Twilight related thing is 'Charlie/Alex reads Twilight'.
Comment by Zoe Lovegood on October 15, 2011 at 9:41pm I only read the series to laugh at it.
