Right so you know when someone sneezes your natural response would be "bless you" or when you're relieved about something you might say "thank god" or in the irish native language the word for hello is "dia dhuit" which means "god be with you" but as some people are atheists, for example me, everyone else in this group, I feel we should have different sayings I have come up with a few, instead of "bless you" I say "I hope you don't get the black plauge" because it started with a sneeze and instead of "thank god" I say "thank Darwin" because you know Darwin is awesome, I think we should come up with more and post them here so atheists can say something acurate to their beliefs!:)

i was thinking about this recently - christmas is my absolute favorite celebration because i just love the feeling of it - every one is happy and generous and i love giving and receiving presents and blah blah blah you get the gist! But I am in no way religious ... what could atheists call christmas? i was thinking "Charlesmass" ("because you know Darwin is awesome") ;D

(all of you should go one youtube and watch Tim Minchin, White wine in the sun, its frickin' epic and he's a genius and it makes you cry and ahhhhhh!!)

I have recently said Oh dear but I've stated sounding like an 80 year old woman... Also I am saying gosh instead of god because its similar it might be easier to remember to say, and once In used to gosh I'll try something similar to gosh, one step at a time seems the way for me
