Brisbane gathering?

I know there is another discussion, but that was started 3 years ago. At the end on next month, somewhere in Brisbane? any ideas?

Can people do Sunday afternoon/evenings? If so, I propose Sunday 27th Nov sometime. We should definitely do it somewhere central near the city, so everyone can get there.

As for any ideas, I've never been to a nerdfighter gathering so i have no idea what people do there. We could book out a room at The Edge (state library, southbank)... they have ipod docks and tables and chairs and what not. We could just chill, play cards maybe? I have no idea what goes on at nerdfighter gatherings so if anyone has a better idea that'd be good to hear.

What dates suit people?

so long as we met somewhere centeral/ easy to get to, like king george square or the cultural center we could go almost anywhere from there.

I think the Edge at State Library Sounds good. We sould read from John Green Book. Hang out. I am not sure about the date, but if it works, I'm in!

When you said read from John's book I imagined us all in a room with some one up the front reading finishing each sentence with 'The word according to Green' and everyone chanting 'DFTBA' in unison :P
