Sooo, yesterday Megs & I went to Borders in Sydney, found the John Green books, looked in them... and 4 of the 5 copies of Paper Towns had Nerdfighter notes in them from somebody called Michelle!! Is that anybody on here?? It was so exciting, I was like jumping up and down a bit lol (people must have thought we were a bit weird) :P I didn't buy a copy from there though, because it was a bit expensive so we went to Kinokuniya to 'register our interest' for John Green's event and a guy working there got us a copy each from out the back (it wasn't stocked yet) for about $15... Then one of the ladies working there was like "Did you know he's coming here?" and we were like "YEAH!!!" and so she started going on about how he's awesome, and I was all :O :O :O and I said something like "...do you... like.. know.. John.... his videos.. and stuff?" haha and she said yes and that she'd watched some of the videos and that. I got really excited and held up my converse, saying "look at my shoe!" which has DFTBA written on it and she was like "Don't forget to be awesome!!!" XD it was so exciting haha. Hmmm how awkward if she's reading this... lol... Anyways I bet she's the one who wrote about his event (and things like "embrace your inner Nerdfighter" and "DFTBA!") on the Kinokuniya website :) First nerdfighter I've met yay!!
So later on (coz we went to a Dylan Moran signing after that :D) we went to Dymocks where they had 1 copy of LFA, 1 copy of AAOK but no PT, so I bought the copy of LFA and put a nerdfighter note that me & Megs wrote ourselves in AAOK (which I already own). Then went to Abbeys Bookstore and put notes in the two copies of Paper Towns there, which was very hard to do inconspicuously seeing as a guy working there was at a counter about 2 feet away! XD It was really fun though lol... then we went around looking at kids books and making 'in my pants' jokes!
Haha very random story but I felt like telling it :P

Kinokuniya is a very cool bookshop. And not only because they have John appearing ;-)

I looked it up on google street view... I couldn't see and signs saying "Kinokuniya" or anything .... ??? But I'm sure its there somewhere.

The shop's called Kinokuniya, apparently it's the largest bookstore in Australia! The info is in the description of John's latest video. I'm so freaking excited :D

I just saw John's video and it took me a few seconds for my brain to register that he said SYDNEY, not Melbourne, and then I was like AKSDJGHAOSKDJGHASKOJ!!!!!!! at like 11:45 PM while most of my house is asleep, my sister who is awake freaked out thinking something was wrong and then got angry when I was just like "OMGJOHNGREENSYDNEYAHHOMGJOHNGREENJOHNGREEN!!!!" then I happy danced for quite a while... and texted my friend who is probably asleep. SO FREAKING EXCITED! I only just met Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi on Friday, and the week before I was in the front row of a Jason Mraz & Eric Hutchinson concert.... having so much luck lately it is insane!! :D Ok I'll stop now lol sorry I've written a heck of a lot :P
