I'm kinda excited and nervous at the same time. I know Shyamalan hasn't had much luck with his last couple films as far as ratings went but I enjoyed them. I have confidence that he will do a good job as a director, however the I'm concerned about the actors in that they don't have much experience. Dev Patel was awesome in Slumdog Millionaire, but the others don't have much experience with movies and I'm worried it'll turn out to be like the first Harry Potter Movie. The cinematography was great but because the actors were so young and inexperienced at the time it made the overall quality of the movie suffer.
I'd love to know what Dimartino and Konitzko (however the crud thats spelled), the guys that, you know, CREATED THE SEREIS, think of the throw up bucket Shyamalamadingdong turned their brilliance into. If I were them, or Shammy's daughter, I'd want to string him up. He has officially proven he is incapable of making a good movie. Hell, my five year old cousin could have retold Avatar: TLAB better than that travesty, and he's FIVE. You know you suck when you have less story telling ability than a preschooler.
