Nerdfighters

Hello Fellow TBBT fans....I would really like to organize a project to make sheldon's game "Research Lab" a real thing. I don't know where to get started..or how to get the project started, but I know the power of nerdfighteria, so I started here. What to do next?

You could also tweet me (https://twitter.com/Peancat)

or shoot me an email @ peanutcat10#gmail.com

First, watch the clip and write down everything we know about research lab from the program.

Then you should get started on making a set of rules and a board from what we've seen in the series. Search the web for stuff to ask in the questions.

You could, instead of making it all research /physics questions, make it about TBBT. But I don't know what you want to do.

And then... play? Or is it not that simple?

There's already a TBBT trivia game though.

Yeah, near about's. I'd say:

  1. Watch clip, make notes.
  2. Write out basic ideas
  3. Design board and finalise rules
  4. Seek some way to print it or, put it as an interactive internet thingy.

Oh, I didn't know that - sorry.

But then I'd say you're well on your way :)

Cool, well now that that's sorted.. :P

Okay, I would like to make this a project, so anyone who is interested gather facts and post them here, and we'll go from there!! Excitement!

I think the image of the board gives us a general idea, and if you watch this clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYaSQTrIbzE) and read this wiki article (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYaSQTrIbzE) You also get a general idea of the gameplay/ You roll, and either pick cards or land on successful or disastrous events spaces.  I wish the image of the board was higher res, because the text is unreadable. Maybe there's a better pick out there, or an HD snapshot of the actual episode zoomed so the board is clear. We know It's shaped like an atom.

I prefer the real thing :)
