Usually when I get a book I really wanted, then it gets a big hug. Also when I finish a book. It's just the thing I do.

I too hug my books when carrying them, or if i have just finished them- or if i was reading them RIGHT before sleeping, and cba putting it down XD

I hug my books while carrying them. It's the only way to do it.

i carry books hugged to my chest or tucked serurely under my arm, like a guy draping his arm around a girl on a first date to watch transformers...
