A new group for all those living in the West Midlands. Where we will have idle small talk and plan Nerdfighter meet ups in the area! In Birmingham or elsewhere.

Comment by Izaak Taltos on January 22, 2013 at 9:47am Greetings and salutations! I am Izaak, and I have never been to the UK. However, the UK is very high on my bucket list, and I need more awesome in my life! That, and if the rumors are true that Britain has nailed down the perfect cup of tea, then, being a tea-o-phile (is that a word?), it would behoove me to get my arse over there. I have always wanted to see Stonehenge (a little disappointed that I can't actually go -up to- it, but meh, I can still see it). I want to party in London's nightlife. I have a friend from South London (or Souf' London, as he says) I would like to visit. There's a bunch of places I would like to see over there: Tintagel, Nottingham, Hadrian's Wall, and...I just want to see the whole damn country, if I can! :D So what are lovers of the UK called? Are we Britannophiles?
Comment by Alex on January 15, 2013 at 4:29pm Hello everyone: this is a 'right place right time' thing.
I'm hitchhiking for charity on the 25th of Jan for 36 hours starting in cambridge. On the off chance anyone is traveling towards Dover from there during that morning up until afternoon would be ultra cool (it's me and a girl). Some of the donations are based on distance traveled and countries visited so a seat in a car is reducing world suck :)
DFTBA
Alex
