Even with PR UKIP get barely any seats. It works out as:

Conservatives=230 seats
Labour = 190 seats
Liberal Democrat = 148 seats
UKIP= 20 seats
BNP= 12 seats
SNP=11 seats
Green=6 seats
DUP =3 seats
Sinn Fein =3 seats
Plaid Cymru = 3 seats
SDLP=3 seats

That admittedly is an unpleasant thought considering they get any seats BUT it is more than balanced out with the increased number of seats the left wing parties have. Ironically the right wing has more power under the current system because of how weak the lib dem position is.

Yea, a lot of people split their vote - a surprising amount went for Lib Dem and BNP/UKIP. Sounds weird! :)

I stood for Battins ward as a councillor (It's in Havant, in Hampshire) and won by 96 votes! :D

See a hung parliament would be interesting because it wouldn't last long, no hung parliament has lasted more than a year. However it would be long enough to get the electoral reforms though, both lib dems and labour have almost identical reform plans so they would almost certainly pass. That would change everything and in a very positive way! In short I don't think a hung parliament would be that bad.

Torn between Lib Dem and Conservative. I may go for the tactical vote and say Tory, just because I live in fear of a hung Parliament.
