And We're Off/Help a Nerdfighter Out
Hello adult+ friends,
By now we have bought (most of) our books and sort of figured out our classes and are feverishly trying to balance getting actual work down with watching youtube videos and drinking tea. But thats ok. I am personally trying a little extra hard to get on top of my shit and do crazy things like not procrastinate. So far, so goodish.
I hope all of you are finding your way in a new semester, for some of you this is your last semester, for others a fresh start in your first year. Wherever you are in the big mish mash of college, I hope you're having a good time, with good people, and you get on top of your shit.
By the by, I'm starting a new discussion for abroad advice, I myself am spending the next academic year (my junior year) in Germany, speaking a language I started studying my freshman year, and leaving America for the first time(ish). Any stories or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Also a Nerdfighter named Mari is working on a research paper about nerdfighteria, tumblr, and fandom. Which is so frickin awesome, that if you have an extra 45 seconds you should absolutely answer her short questions in the discussion Help? Please!

Hi guys! I'm a communication and culture major. I'll be a senior next year and I am making a documentary photo book as the basis for my thesis (yikes!). However, I need to fund this project somehow, so I made an indiegogo campaign. If anyone could help me either by contributing a few dollars (from 1 to however) to just helping me promote the campaign! I would greatly appreciate it! i dont study in america yet but im doing an exchange next year to towson university, sarah laurence or cal arts. not entirely sure on which is the best but im leaning towards towson at the moment any advice?

i'm surviving college. it's not that bad except my class has 5 students. somehow i feel like i'm missing out compared to my other friends. peer pressure. D:

Back in school, had to take a year off because Out of State is so expensive (not the best year in the world, but needed). So glad to be back at Clemson University learning to become that teacher that students will be excited to see 5 days a week.
