Superman and communism- which i loathe more is a question i ask myself every day. But i'll download it, and if it seems awesome i'll toss it up on the list

I just finished the first issue. It was good. Apparently Superman can be a good character if you make him a commie.

Agreed! Red Son was amazing!!! The Russian Batman (although only appeared in like a total 10 panels) made me laugh for days.

Same here, but Red Son I actually pretty good.

I agree, I really don't like Superman as a character yet I find Red Son to be amazing it looks at so many deep issues and in so many different ways.

how the hell did i forget Hush? And tell me a bit about those other 3 comics, i dont think i've herd about them.

The other 3 are more inidieish than tights and capes. Bone is by Jeff Smith and is now found as a book if you like. The Maxx was a Sam Keith venture, and what got me into comics back in the 90's. Blankets is a graphic novel by Craig Thompson that's quite artsy and beautiful.
