It depends on your financial status. If all you have is $300, then I'm not going to be the one who persuaded you to spend it all on comic books. If you've got a steady cashflow and don't need anything at the moment, go ahead.

I've read some Dark Horse but not a lot. Mainly the Buffy comics and Fray (which I actually kind of loved). and some other crazy one that can't remember :D
