Comment by Stevan R Rakic on April 5, 2013 at 8:45am Hello fellow Nerdfighters. So I'm really new to the whole knitting thing, but I picked it up in order to keep my mind and hands doing something as I am trying to quit smoking. Any tips for a n00b knitter? Also, wish me luck both with quitting smoking and my new hobby, as I will probably such horribly at it.

Comment by Izaak Taltos on January 22, 2013 at 12:41pm I just got into crochet. I really enjoy it, but I am such a novice! I'm practicing my rows and yo-s, but every single time I yo from my first row (first one after the foundation chain) into my second row, I always have this oddball...nubbin...between the rows. I swear I'm counting my stitches! (But I may be losing count somewhere... <_<) Any way, here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

Comment by Laura Elizabeth Campbell on December 11, 2012 at 7:41pm Anybody have a pattern to make Jayne's hat from Firefly? I would like to make it for my boyfriend for his birthday (which isn't until July, so I have plenty of time to screw up and fix it!) but I'd like to work from a pattern if I can, and I figured Nerdfighteria might be easier than searching the interwebs.
Comment by Eliane Margaux on August 18, 2012 at 2:48pm I have a question for anyone who sells the things they make. I've been making octopi (just for friends right now) but they're really cute and they only take half an hour to make, and I was wondering how much I could possibly sell them for? I'm really bad with selling things...
