Asylum of the Daleks

You guys probably know this, but the first episode of season seven is now called "Asylum of the Daleks"

It features every type of Dalek and a lot of snow...

although the daleks are overused and becoming a bore (i don't see the scary part in them at all), i thought the premiere was pretty damn spectacular!

It's the backstory that they didn't show due to budget. Killed entire planetary populations, enslaved others temporarily for a few generations before killing them all. Also the 4th Doctor was involved in a situation where he could have stopped their existence, but he couldn't. He tried to see if he could make them less hateful, but it couldn't be. Oh, and they're the space Nazi cyborgs.

I agree, Daleks aren't that scary. And the talking plushies are more adorable than fear inspiring (I have one and my friends all think it's 'cute', especially the ones who don't actually watch Doctor Who). Though the premiere WAS amazing.
