Doctor Who: The Endless Reckoning

Sorry to post this here as well as the Nerdfighters Videos page, but I kind of want to get this out there to other Nerdfighters who may have an interest in it.

 

Greetings and salutations, Nerdfighters. I'm posting this here in hopes of garnering some interest for this film project I am producing with my boyfriend. If this is not permitted, I apologize and will kindly let the thread be dealt with accordingly.

 

I don't exactly know where to begin with this project, so I will provide you first with a summary and the first trailer in a series of five that we have planned.

Throughout her entire life, Emily has had nightmares. She dreams of people who never existed and places that never were. These clues inevitably lead her to the one man who makes the biggest ripples in history: The Doctor. However, the man Emily meets is, “more than usual,” not himself. When those surrounding Emily are being devoured from time itself by a lurking presence, The Doctor discovers a link to recovering his own bits of history that have vanished from time. Is the same fiend responsible for the disappearances also to blame for The Doctor’s missing history, or is there some deeper, darker secret afoot?

 

While the project will take another year for the production work to begin, there are quite a number of supplemental projects that are being used to fill in the gap and help keep interest and build up the project so we may raise the proper funds to produce this five-episode story arc. For example, the series of teaser trailers such as the one above and an audio drama that serves as a prequel to the story of the Endless Reckoning, among many other things.

 

Basically, I'm posting this because we are in dire need of financial assistance a bit early. Cody and I can't film the second trailer or the other supplemental behind the scenes material while, you know, being separated by 1500 miles. There are only eight days left of the Indiegogo campaign we are running to support the filming of the second trailer and the supplemental behind the scenes material. If you happen to be interested in the project, please donate or spread the word to anyone you know that might also be interested. It would mean a lot to us, as we have worked very, very hard to see this project become reality.

I don't know what the policy on double-posting is, but... I have a couple more videos I'd like to share.  It took forever to get them complete!

The first one is fairly long, but definitely worth it.  While we wait out my final year of school to begin the official production work of Doctor Who: The Endless Reckoning, I've started a promotional mini-series called Doctor How that takes place behind the scenes of the entire process, with a twist.  Watch how we tie together the universe of our film with the world in which we create it!  This is the first episode, complete with special effects.

Just as a note, while compiling the actual footage for this, I filmed each segment in a single day.  Only three videos were actually scripted, the rest were entirely improvised and done on the fly.  Hence, some of the shoddy edits and compression errors.

Next is the teaser trailer for the second episode of Doctor How.  This is hopefully going to be much smoother an episode, as the entire script has been written beforehand and I have an actual plan for what's going to happen next with my story and characters:

While Cody does most of the writing for The Endless Reckoning and Doctor Who Doodles, Doctor How, as well as Doctor What, are written by myself.  Please be sure to check everything we have to offer out!  There's something for just about any kind of Whovian there is!
