Permalink Reply by Christine on April 8, 2012 at 7:30pm I was doing my german homework in my English teacher's classroom, unaware that she hosted Dr. Who club on Thursdays. Naturally, I found that Doctor Who was much more interesting than german. The episode was the one with the Slitheen, and I thought it was pretty good, so I kept watching. Now, three years later, I'm totally obsessed (the obsession started about two to three years ago).
Permalink Reply by Stephanie Cervantez on April 8, 2012 at 9:10pm I heard about if from Charlie McDonnell I think, but I'm not quite sure. The first ever episode I saw was The Lodger and I was pretty much a gonner from then on because I thought it was a completely perfect show and I had a whole summer to watch the rest of the episodes and become the fully obsessed Whovian I am today:)
Permalink Reply by Soleil Smith on April 8, 2012 at 9:43pm Charlie McDonall made his video explaining what Doctor Who is, and being the ultimate Charlie fan I am I had to see what all the hullabaloo was about. I sought out for BBCA and then watched my very first episode, Gridlock, with my sister. I've been the biggest Whovian in America since. Thank you Charlie, I've no idea how I made it so long without the Doctor in my life. :D
Permalink Reply by Monica Quijano on May 27, 2012 at 8:11pm I LOVE Charlie! I saw his Doctor Who video too, but I didn't check Doctor Who out for a few more years. I did happen to see part of an episode when I was babysitting for a family who had cable, but I thought Amy and Rory were children!

Permalink Reply by Loopy Gibson on April 9, 2012 at 3:39am I first heard of it at my Aunts who is a Whovian. I watched about half an episode at her house, episode in question Aliens of London. Then a year later my best friend at the time was getting me into all sorts of shows/books/movies and Doctor Who was one. I then got hooked and now I am pretty obsessed and collecting the DVDs. I nearly have all the new series DVDs.
My first reaction was that this was awesome but then my mother made me leave and I was sad.
I was not confused except for the TARDIS being bigger on the inside. Now thats logical to me.

Permalink Reply by Muriel the partial-Potter on April 9, 2012 at 7:54am When I first started watching it, I was really young so I have no idea how I started watching it. All I know is that I've been watching it for about as long as I can remember.
Permalink Reply by Melissa White on April 9, 2012 at 8:08am I remember when I was around 5 or 6 the show used to come on t.v with Tom Baker and his scarf. The music scared the crap out of me, as did the robots. I only started watching the newer series last year. I simply wanted to see it-knowing that it would be right down my alley of things that I would enjoy.
Permalink Reply by Justin McKibben on April 9, 2012 at 8:40am My dad started watching on PBS when I was a kid. My mom laughed at how bad the sets were, I did too at first. Then I was hooked. I grew up watching episodes of Tom Baker, one of them I remember being particularly frightening. I look forward to finding that one again. After a while I stopped watching, then found it again on PBS when I was in high school. When the new series started, I tried watching it, but just didn't get into it. Around the time Matt Smith took over, my friends admitted they were into the show, so I gave it another try. I'm so glad I did! I went back and have seen all of the new series now, and impatiently waiting for the next one!
Permalink Reply by Molly Gaumer on April 9, 2012 at 8:23pm I was spending a few days at my friends house 2 years ago and we watched all of nine, ten and the first episode of 11 in around 3 days :)
Permalink Reply by Kaitness on April 10, 2012 at 12:43am I started because a very good friend said to watch it and I forgot untill it was halfway through the episode (it was only a couple of months ago) and watched half an episode I thought it was a tad odd but I watched the next couple of episodes then blink came on and I was hooked. (I was very confused)
