Step 1. Do not under-estimate the Weeping Angel. It is quite a formidable enemy. Keep eye contact at all times, do not turn your back, do not look away, and do not blink.
Step 2. While maintaining eye contact with the Weeping Angel, retrieve a 10-pound sledgehammer.
Step 3. Hit the Angel on the head repeatedly, till it breaks off and shatters.
Step 4. Repeat step 3 as necessary until all Angels are disposed of.
Step 5. It is now safe to blink. Do so immediately, to prevent the drying of your eyes.
Step 6. Look at the remains of the Angels. If you destroyed the head properly, there should be a blood-pool shaped piece of stone lying on the ground, and the Angel should be dead.

Permalink Reply by Tom Stipson on November 5, 2012 at 4:28pm It's just natural that humans (and other intelligent creatures) are affraid of someone/-what who/which is harder, better, faster or stronger than them...and they might think about killing him/it just for beeing shure.
On the other hand: wouldn't it be a pitty if the whole humankind got stuck in a wibbidy-wobbedy-time-loop? Allways between the sixties and 2008, the children of the back-in time traveled getting sent back themselves, the history getting rewritten over and over - not considering the huge overpopulation... I have to stop before my mind melts down while trying to imagine that.
Yeah, just some civil rights, thats just a lot simpler.
Permalink Reply by Josh Griffiths on November 3, 2012 at 7:53pm Can weeping angels look at mirrors? I wonder whether that would freeze them until the mirror was broke or moved
Permalink Reply by Megan (Han Li-Mei) on November 4, 2012 at 10:01am Might work. Because an image of an angel becomes itself an angel, so the mirrored image would be like another angel looking straight at the original. So, it sounds plausible to me.
Permalink Reply by Tom Stipson on November 5, 2012 at 4:35pm This Techniqe sounds just great.
But as i know the Dr.Who-Universe, creatures who are so much evolved as the weping angels, don't turn just to stone - such a unstable material. Well it looks like stone, but maybe it is just a camouflage like the tardis as police box, which can not be destroyed by ordinary force like the hordes of dschingis kahn... maybe
Permalink Reply by Leah Cherie Rowbotham on November 6, 2012 at 1:58am I always thought a vat of acid, or lava or a drop from a skyscraper might be good after they have looked at each other cause I thought, what if someone moved the angels so they are no longer looking at each and they somehow managed to fuel up with some time energy, could they possibly move again?
