New Who or old Who.

Although the weeping angels are high up on the list, they take a second place to one monster that I find to be terrifying and we know NOTHING about.

Whatever that thing was on the planet of midnight. That is the scariest. That thing is strong, brilliant, and completely unknown. It's to us what the doctor is to the bad guys. Unknowable power and completely on the other side as us.

Very, scariest in my opinion after that I made every angel in my room face another angel.

This made me giggle.

Close, but not right. The actual scariest "monster", and I'm surprised no-one said this, is the little boy who just wanted to know if you were his mummy. Definitely the scariest episodes. And surprisingly, a 9th episode....
The Weeping Angels are probably the most terrifying for me though because they are the one monster that I am actually terrified of in real life. There is a mini statue in the principal's office at my school that is gold and of a little angel that is sitting with his or her head in his or her hands and it is utterly terrifying. Whenever I walk past it I get paranoid that it is following me down the hall and my heart starts to race and I start to walk faster...

weeping angels.

Berrr...

The Weeping Angels and the thing on Midnight and the Empty Child were all scary as hell... But I got pretty creeped out by The Silence. They have a face like that, and you can wake up in the middle of the night not knowing- you could be perfectly fine or you could be surrounded... *shudders*  :D

Well, he isn't really an enemy, but I think the little child from the empty cild scared me most. It was just... sooo scary!

I agree the think from Midnight was very scary as well (but I couldn't help thinking "Just stop talking, you stupid humans, don't you understand you're making it worse???).

The Vashta Nerada freaked me the heck out. I watched it at night and I kept thinking that all the shadows in my room contained Vashta Nerada and it was pretty darn scary when I had to switch off the lights before going to sleep, LET ME JUST TELL YA

Also, you know in the "Family of Blood" episode? Yeah, at the end where the Doctor traps "My Sister" in a mirror? I am forever scared by mirrors now, thank you Doctor

The Weeping Angels were pretty scary too, although not so much in the "The Time of Angels / Flesh and Stone" arc.

I HAS THE SAME THING WITH THE VASHTA NERADA.
Plus the empty children.

Im not really influenced by the weeping angels. They are scary for sure but I can walk past statues and blink, no problem.

Im not sure about The Master and the Daleks. They are both pretty psycho and scary, but darn cute. John Simms babyface (is a good thing!) isnt helping either, and whenever I hear a Dalek I start laughing.

Agreed. The angels were sort of nerfed.

The nanogenes in empty child guise. that was scary

I agree. When I first saw it, I flipped out. Also it's another example of how stupid/brave you have to be to be a companion.
