So, what did everyone think about the new episode?

 

I thought it was okay.  There was one moment in which I went, "Wait, what?"  The fact that there was a black secret service agent on the president's personal detail in 1969 is a little hard to believe.  However, I loved the rest of it.

 

The pregnancy thing....I dunno.  It seems pretty obvious.  Also, I'm really hoping Amy didn't kill the little girl.  I can't wait for next week.

I loved the landscape and what River was saying about them ravelling in the wrong direction and how it might kill her when he doesn't know her. The aliens were creepy! And the beginning? Mind=blown!

I does kill her eventually, sort of. We've all seen the episode in the libary. It's the first time the Doctor meets her, and she dies at the end.

That was one of my all time favorite episodes

It's cool because I think she kills him for whatever reason and that's why she's in prison (even though she seems to be out of prison a remarkable amount, they need better prison guards) and he was there for her death.

It's just ironic, I guess.

I can't wait to find out who River is. We really didn't get any answers, just some more hints that made a little sense now, but will probably make more as the series progresses. CGI was alright, but  the aliens were SUPER CREEPY :D Good first episode, but I want MOAAARRRR. D:

I just finished watching the episode, and I am freaking the fuck out. I'm going to have nightmares, also. Holy Holy Fuck Fuck.

It was certainly an interesting episode. There were a few parts that were kinda weird though...

The aliens were so freaky. Especially because you can't remember them. I hate knowing something the characters don't because I always want to scream at them and tell them these things!

Well, at first I thought the pregnancy thing was obvious but then River felt sick after seeing the aliens too, so it confused me. I also was unclear as to why it was so important for her to tell the doctor right then and there, but I haven't been watching Doctor Who that long, so maybe I missed something. I also feel like that's not what she was supposed to tell him. I wanted her to take her phone out and see the picture of the alien and show it to him.

 

I also feel like those Aliens are scarier than the weeping angels because not only do they move when you look away, but you also forget that they're there, and we don't know what they want yet, so I can't tell if they are trying to kill everyone or just tell the Doctor something.
