As everyone is attempting to discuss The Waters of Mars and subsequent End of Time trailer in the general comments without giving anything away, as much fun as that is, I figured it would make a great deal of sense to have a place for a proper discussion! So... DISCUSS!

I agree with you, the wiki thing was just awkward and it did feel a bit like there was a tad too much extraneous dialogue. The Doctor going a bit mad was very confronting and perhaps a good way for us to get ready for Matt to take over the role, not that I'm implying David isn't fantastically brilliant because he is like everyone said my doctor. Anyway, overall I thought the episode was great and very compelling but definitely not faultless. I would like to watch with commentary as well.

Oh man, I watched it and cried for about half of it. I found it very interesting how he acted and was constantly saying he should leave and let everything happen.

I thought it was incredibly tragic when she killed herself, although when she pulled out her gun I was freaking out that she was going to kill the Doctor, not herself. When she did, and the Doctor really began to doubt his ability, I started crying. I am finding it a bit hard to accept that David's going to be gone really soon and that Matt is going to replace him. David is, by far, the best Doctor I've seen. Well, him, Tom Baker and John Pertwee are my favourites but y'know.

I'm really excited for the new episodes because it means that the Master is back -- I missed him! I'm excited to see how it plays out.

I've just rewatched the last scene, and maybe I'm wrong, but on first watching, the line "That's for me to decide" sounded to me like an overdub by someone else - I had wondered whether it was John Simm and whether it was alluding to the Master having hidden himself in the Doctor somehow.
