@ Plottoberry as much fun it would be to go to a nerdnite {or anything involving fellow fans and people you know outside of school} life is different here in the Philippines. I have no friends outside of school much more fellow nerds. Big gatherings in my city are just mostly concerts, really loud noisy not all that fun concerts. School is just boys playing football {soccer} at the back of the classroom and every year we wait for the person to break the board {it happens every year} also the door {one time someone poked a hole through the door using a flag stick thing} currently our bathroom doors don't even close someone has to hold the door for you. The teachers watch Tom and Jerry. One time our teacher got mad and threw his marker but then my classmate just caught it with one hand. Another time my classmate said "look miss I can do karate" he kicked and well his shape ups flew away and hit our teachers shoulder.

@well there are several possible answers:

1- Insecurity: The person/people doing the tripping feel bad about themselves for some reason (looks, grades, family instability, other teenagers insecurities) and bulling someone makes them feel better about themselves, that they are at least superior to the bullied person.

2 - primordial fear - As creatures that evolved from rat-like mammals, humans are instinctively afraid of anything that they perceive as being different then they, geeks act slightly different then the pinkies (aka normies, aka average people), so they are treated with mistrust and violence. On a psychological level, seeing someone acting different then expected makes the normies question their own "normal" actions, which makes then feel insecure, bringing us back to point one.

3 - Social pressure - Human beings connect with each other for a number of different reasons, again for primeval reasons, banding over your dislike of the different individual (indeed, individual is the key word here, someone who doesn't fit with the group mentality), is one of the most common ways groups are formed, and acting aggressively towards the outsider will raise your social status within the group.

Now I don't know Chloe, so far all i know, she could be a perfectly well adjusted individual, these are just some of the usual reasons these things happen.

(Can you tell I'm bored and procrastinating to avoid studying?)

why would people trip you, i thought that was just a nerd stereotype. if there are people who trip you for no reason i have a problem with them.

I just watched crashcourse and I got extremely excited when John started to talk about Catherine the Great, one of my favorite tsars. Yes, I have favorite tsars. [/unrelated topic].

I heard about lonelygirl15 as well, because HayleygHoover watched it. It sounds so awesome. I will probably watch it in the summer when I feel less guilty when I spend a day inside when it's good weather outside.

I did liked school, but that was because of my friends. The school itself was pretty bad (both elementary school and highschool) - the teachers were always so negative about nothing. They always thought you were up to no good, when in fact I was an angel in highschool (not literally... though that would have been awesome), I did my homework, was polite and was interested in many of the subjects.

Yes, but school isn't fun. I get tripped when going into my classes and teased and at my P.E. class i get hit with ten dogeballs at a time. You aren't missing much AJ.

Just finished up The Girl Who Waited.  That last bit with the Doctor and Rory...wow.  Only three episodes left of series 6 to go.  Can't help but say I'm getting nervous.
