If you don't get BBC in your area, or BBC isn't allowing you BBC channel to air the 50th, here is a live stream you can use:
Have you guys listened to the audio adventures that have been playing on Radio 4: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b009szrh/episodes/player
Like I said, unless there's a Paul-McGann level secret being kept lolAnd I'd rather have a good story than a full-blown "fan-wank", I think everyone is still trying to recover from Dimensions In Time. Also, The Light At The End, give it a listen good stuff, guys.Anyone ever played any of the games? Don't know what to think about them.
Some more articles: *SPOILERS*
It is confirmed by the actor himself in an interview...
Jonthan I think you'll like thishttp://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/doctor-who---the-na...
And again, if we're looking forward, not back, then why is David Tennant in it?
"A good story" is just what we should be demanding with every single episode - and not just of Doctor Who, of everything, for that matter - why on earth should that be "enough" for the 50th?It's not impossible to have a reunion and a good story in 75 minutes. It just isn't.I've got no idea why people keep assuming that we have to divide the runtime up between the Doctors ("Right, so they get five minutes each, that's 40 minutes, so 35 minutes left for the story...") because that's just not how it works. They don't NEED to be re-introduced, to be explained to the audience who they are - they're The Doctor. Who they are is self-explanatory, their personalities shine through while they're doing other stuff. If people really want to get to know them better, there's a hell of a lot of material for them to go back and do just that with.
Regarding the Classic Doctors being in the 50th Anneversary, I think that it wouldn't be condusive plot-wise to have too many characters getting involved, due to paradoxes and having too many characters (though Moffat is quite fond of paradoxes, it seems. I think that the BBC can go two ways with the 50th: a fan-wank, or a proper, epic DW story. Of course, most of the fans want a fan-wank, with tons of references to the Classic years and all the Doctors meeting and just chatting for a bit (a lot like Time Crash, i would imagine, but on a larger scale). While I'm not opposed to the idea, I do think that the latter is a better choice. IMO, Day of the Doctor should represent the best of Doctor Who: fantastic storylines, mindboggling adventure, phenomenal acting, and shitty special effect (JK, god knows we don't need any more of that). Also, to me, Doctor Who has always been a show that looks forward, not back. Maybe we could have a minisode where the Doctor meet and chat or something? Granted, I haven't seen all of the Classic episodes so I can't really make a fair decision about which is better. What do you guys think? Would you rather have an epic story, or an all out fan-wank?
