Eh the massive amount of plotholes, things left unexplained or properly developed and how the plot is constructed as a massive cheap shot, kinda pulled me away from the feels. I'm sad to see them go, but when the whole episode is design to force me into feels to the point of creating plotholes to the accomplish it, I'm sorry but no, you're just going to lose me
This was a really disappointing first half of the season, I though moffat could do much better.
@Katy_of_Katydom, I too found The Angels Take Manhattan more painful than those episodes. I was a terrible, sobbing mess. I've been teary-eyed all day. Making gifs for this episode was the hardest thing D':
i think that's most of us Andrea
I really don't know if I love or hate Moffat. I just know that whatever that feeling is, it's huge.
So many feeling after tonight's epiosde, The Angels Take Manhattan.
Thanks aj. I took it off.
jd YOU POSTED A SPOILER! watch out. you ight want to take that down before more fans see it!
Wow... "The Angels Take Manhattan" made me cry more that "Doomsday", "Journeys End", "The End of Time", and "The Girl Who Waited" combined. First episode that has ever made me scream aloud in terror too. Needless to say, I loved it.
Just watched Asylum of the Daleks (had to do homework, so that is logic *facepalm*) and I was happily suprised! I love Daleks very much, and I love effed up things, so a Dalek asylum was like one of my wildest dreams came true. I only hoped to see some really effed up Daleks, like sick stuff. No, dead people coming to Dalek life isn't sick enough for me, no. I loved Oswins story, I would love it if she is going to be a Dalek companion, but somehow that seems comical (''No... no, dear Mr. Einstein, she is a human inside a scary robot, she is alright!''). Not sure what to think of the ''but you want kids and I can't give you that!'' part, it seems so out of character for Amy. And Moffat must stop giving all his female characters the same personality. No, Moffat, not every woman is flirty, cocky, slightly agressive and brave, just... stop doing that.
@Katy of Katydom You said it all. I agree with you, except, I didn't really care for A Town Called Mercy either... This season only has two good episodes so far, Asylum and the latest one. The others feels like they tried to hard and then didn't deliver.
