I'm trying to host a gathering of friends, but then I need to be the DM. Looking forward to it :D
Pathfinder looks interesting [probably 'cause I've played since AD&D and like 3.0 and 3.5] Currently play 4e - I like that fighters have more choices and wizards have fewer- balances time at the table during combat - but combat is sooo slow - and I miss a lot of old stuff. I'll be interested in playtesting D&D Next - hopefully it will balance some 3.5 and 4e ideas and strengthen the idea of roles in the party [leader, striker, etc.] so they are bit more necessary [like tank, healer, dps]. Just took a peak at eternus -someone put a lot of work into...something... are there going to be PDFs, play by e-mail?, a tabletop RPG that players will need an internet connection to reference the rules for...?? I could figure it out I'm sure, but really I'm just to dang laz
Hey, I don't know if this is the right place to put this... But my dad runs this really cool rpg website.
It's not "dnd", it's Eternus. It's really cool and really easy to learn. We're in the middle of a campaign right now; but we're always looking for new people to play with!
pathfinder anyone? there is this thing called pathfinder society if you want to check it out let me know
Just wanted to say hello to the group... I've been a fan of AD&D back before the "Advanced" stuff... Yes, I owned the box set.... Anyhow, thanks for letting me join the group. - Darrin from IGGYed.com
