So, last session we finally made it to Taverton and as soon as we checked in to our hotel we had to fight a giant mechanical spider. Well, it wasn't really a machine. It was a real spider who's soul had been stolen and was under the control of a villain. We nearly died but then Baderon Devereaux used a sacrificial spell to heal Paulina Talbot 300 points! And then I (Nicia Mowbray) jumped into the nearby tree, allowing me to use my Hawk Dive ability doing a little over a hundred points in damage. We finally managed to defeat it and it started running around sporadically before exploding. And it turns out the hotel owner had been having people PAY TO SEE US FIGHT!!! WE NEARLY DIED!!! And he said it was all a show! >_/p>
