I love it, flirting is fun so long as it's playful. Some people get a little too intense about it and that makes it awkward. But flirty banter is my native language.

4. If the person you liked the most kept pet slugs, would it put you off that person?

As long as it's not pet snakes, I can overlook it. #massivephobia!

Yes, but mostly from friends.

I wouldn't say so, I mean I like spending time with people and I'm more than comfortable with just existing in the same space, but I'm also a bit of an introvert as a writer so I like having some reclusive time.

7. If your boyfriend/ girlfriend was a "cool person" would you try to convert them to the ways of nerd?

Honestly, I'm so nerdy I could never date a "cool person." Anyone I dated would have to at least have respect for the HP.

8. Would you find it awkward if one of your friends asked you out?

Yes but only because all of my friends currently are either girls or gay guys, and I'm straight.

9. Do you think cheesy chat up lines are cute or annoying?

They're only cute when used jokingly or as an icebreaker, but if anyone actually expected them to work I'd be a bit worried.

10. If things were going badly in a relationship, who do you think would be the one to call it off? You or them?

I don't think I've ever dated a guy assertive enough to call it off himself, it's always me who has to make the call even if we both knew it was coming.

11. Any pet peeves about boyfriends/girlfriends?

In Utah people have this weird obsession with rushing into serious relationships, and I've always been more of a person to let things progress more naturally, so it's weird to me being here when people meet and get married in a span of six months.

12. Would you ever use the word 'nerdfighterlike' to chat someone up if you knew they were a fellow nerd?

Absolutely. I mean if you're gonna tell a nerd that you like them, is there any other word in the English language that sums it up more perfectly than that?

13. Where would you go on a honeymoon with your beloved?

Honestly, I have this strange fantasy about going to the UK and doing a Harry Potter tour, like seeing the cafe where JK wrote the first book, and visiting Kings Cross, things like that. 

14. Am I the only one who thinks Sheldon Cooper is frickin' adorable?

I find him equal parts adorable and completely insufferable.
