UCF Nerdfighters!!!!- Do you exist?

Title is pretty self explanatory! Are there any nerdfighters who either attend or are going to attend University of Central Florida? If so, it would be nice to create a little communuity of UCF nerdfighters! I'm not up in Orlando yet, but I'm starting this summer!!! :D

So how was your UCF experience? Any tips or warnings for a freshman nerdfighter? :D

I was serious about school and did just fine.  I've had several roommates who dropped out because they weren't serious though.  They weren't even big partiers.

Try and figure out what you want to do early if you can, especially if you want to go into a degree with lots of dependencies like computer science or one of the engineering degrees.  They take at least four years in the degree, even if you get your preliminary classes out of the way.

Find a way to get to know other students.  School clubs are good.  I am a Christian, so I went to several of the Christian ministries as well as a computer science club and a martial arts one.  I also volunteered for conversation hour with international students to help them learn English, which was fun.
