The movies were great, but they pretty much KILLED the book series by not actually starting at the beginning... the books are fantastic :D

I remember I watched the first film with a few of my friends at the local cinema and when the lion came on I stood up and started to clap my hands and shouted "give some applause to this lion" just ftw. And there were actually some people that joined me :D

I rented them from the library years ago when I was twelve or something and watched them all with my brother. Haha they are indeed awesome. :)
