Just as last time in 2009, John Green will be presenting his new book, this time "the fault in our stars", at the international literature festival in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich.
I know that because my teacher contacted me about this matter and sent me the newsletter, saying so. (I'll attach it in this post).
So yes, the festival will start on the 4th September and end on the 16th. In between that time, John Green will have his book-presentation.
I for myself look quite forward to this and I'm pretty sure some of you are too.
Well, 'till then DFTBA!
EDIT:
The final dates are: Sep 11th in Berlin, 12th in Hamburg, 13th in Frankfurt and 14th in Munich

Permalink Reply by gelingeling on May 21, 2012 at 2:43pm I'm really looking forward to this explanation... ôO
Tuesdays in Berlin in September will most definitely not be a date at which I can attend. :-(
Maybe Hamburg at 7pm. That would be possible.
Permalink Reply by Maise Jean Friar on May 22, 2012 at 11:06am that one i could possibly get to too... we should talk about ticket sharing or something....
Permalink Reply by Stefan on May 22, 2012 at 2:49pm Hamburg would also be possible for me, especially because I can go there by train for free. But unlike Berlin, I don't know anyone in Hamburg where I could stay. Hmm...
Permalink Reply by Anne S. on May 24, 2012 at 10:53am That will also be the one I'll probably go to. What time do you think it will end? It's school the next day and I have to convince my parents first...
Permalink Reply by Maise Jean Friar on May 24, 2012 at 11:44am I have no idea. Probably two hours or so. I'd imagine we'd be back home by midnight.
Permalink Reply by gelingeling on May 25, 2012 at 3:08am Oh this is great! That I'll me you all again in September. Really looking forward to it ^.^
Permalink Reply by Stefan on May 25, 2012 at 3:13am I just saw that the last train from Hamburg to Göttingen leaves at around 9pm, so I don't think I can go... how about the one at 11am? Probably too early for those who have school that day...
Permalink Reply by Maise Jean Friar on June 14, 2012 at 7:38am The tickets for the Hamburg one just came on sale. The one at 11am is only for school groups, so unless someone wants to call and say we're the school of nerdfighteria, the one in the evening is the only one. It costs 12€ so. yeah. I'm thinking of getting a ticket, but the mother is worried about letting me drive around niedersachsen in the evening on my own. So, Yeah. Is anyone up for that one????
Well, I was thinking about going to the later one, anyways (probably couldn't have made the first one anyhow, since I have to get from Berlin to HH that day, too, and maybe a friend of mine will come as well, and she has to work during the day), so that works out fine then :)
@Stefan: hopefully you can work something out to come anyways... Maybe there is a Mitfahrgelegenheit? (I really don't know the english equivalent to that word and I'm too tired to look it up, so yeah...)
Permalink Reply by Judith Schreier on June 2, 2012 at 6:59am Sadly,I can't attend any of the dates in Berlin. But I am quite sure, I can attend the one in Munich! Anyone else? We should meet up before the event and have dinner or something!
