After looking it up on Wikipedia, I think Gendarmenmarkt is a great place to meet.
The statue at the center seems like a good meeting place.
According to doodle Monday seems OK to everyone. What do you guys say?
(I'm reffering to this BTW: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gendarmenmarkt)
So Monday, 3:00 pm (15:00) at Gendarmenmarkt near the statue. I'll be waiting there. You'll recognize me by the owls!

Hi everyone! I searched everywhere for you guys but I didn't have any internet and apparently the place was closed because of a show there so I couldn't find the statue. I hope you guys had fun without me. Here is my number in case anyone has time to try meet again this week or something....

I think the tempelhofer feld is a nice place to meet.
its an old, abandonded airport. just a nice place to hang out
Permalink Reply by gelingeling on July 4, 2012 at 11:38pm Jep. But I think we'd have to meet at, like, U Platz der Luftbrücke or something, because otherwise we won't find each other ^^

Permalink Reply by gelingeling on July 5, 2012 at 10:32am Haha, those are the places Berlin residents try to avoid :D We could do that anyway, but from my experience it's quite hard to find one another in these places, because they're extremely crowded. We should pick a specific place, like 'the last bench on the left in front of the Brandenburger Tor if you come from Unter den Linden' or something like that.
In my opinion the Gendarmenmarkt would be nice. It's near Friendrichstraße, so it's quite central. It's beautiful and there are a lot of cafés and I think it's a little less crowded than the Brandenburger Tor or Reichstag, even though it's near those places (1,5 - 2 km). That just crossed my mind.
Permalink Reply by Chen on July 5, 2012 at 2:17pm I'd rather go to a touristy place because I don't know Berlin so a place that is famous seems easyer to find (plus it's killing 2 birds with one stone since I only have a week there and I want to see everything). Has we decided on a date?
