Nerdfighters

Well everyone in my year knows that i am bisexual. I am happy with this and no one has really given me much stick (apart from someone stating i watch them in the changing rooms, which i dont, and then someone else saying I fancy this girl). however, we are having religious ed lessons on sexuality next week and Im not sure what im going to do if someone aims a joke my way.

I am comfortable with who i am as a bisexual, and i dont care what other people say about it. However, none of my teachers know (for obvious reasons) and im worried what will happen if they find out.

Sooo- am I taking this over the top and shudnt be worried about it

Or shud i be worried- if so tell me wat i cud do

thankooo for reading *hugs*

If it's sex ed in a religious way, they will probably not even bring up sexual orientation, except maybe if/ when you talk about STDs, namely, AIDS. Cuz ya know, all gay people have it >_> But even then, negative things are usually aimed at gay males, so hopefully you won't get any of the brunt. Also, do you go to a private/ Catholic school, or a public school where they teach some stuff from a religious standpoint?

Ah, well.... that sucks that it's a whole big topic. But it may be one of those times where hopefully no one says anything?

Well, think of it this way, high school is only four years of your life. I can promise you that life does get better after high school. I've known I was bisexual since I was 12, though I could say I knew before then, I just didn't know the offical term.
I got a lot of grief about it in middle and high school. I was out'ed by a supposed "friend" in eigth grade-through ninth and part of tenth grade I went to a performing arts school where people were a lot more accepting. I had to leave the performing arts school to go to my "assigned public school", where everyone I knew from middle school was. The last two and a half years of high school kind of sucked because I had family trouble and experienced my first break up after a serious long-term relationship.
College is very different. Though there are quite a few jerks out there, nerds tend to congregate within the first week. I met a lot of friends there, and my boyfriend.
The point I'm trying to make is, as bad as it may seem now, things will get better. Just keep your head held high and don't let anyone bring you down.
