I have mixed feelings about this.

I just find something wrong with letting a child choose his gender before he is developed sexually.

I think it really matters how much the child was adamant about dressing up like a girl. Anyways, a professional child psychologist's opinion is most welcome.

The videos aren't available in my country. Which is Canada. So... yeah.

But I think that if you're a boy or a girl, then you're a boy or a girl and your parents should let you make your own decisions and not make you go around in clothes you don't want to be in and don't feel confident in just because your gender and your sex don't match up.
They were available in Canada until recently I don't know what changed.
I think this is absolutely wonderful! I get what Chen is saying about waiting for the child to go through puberty, but the kids in these videos seemed very happy and excited about being a girl. It would be awful to force them to have short hair and act boyish if they don't want to, and it seems that restricting a child's expression so brutally could have some extreme psychological consequences later in life.
I agree with what Chen is saying about them choosing before they're developed, but I also wouldn't want the parents  forcing them to be something they're not. I really think it's great how accepting these parents are of their children and I wish all parents could be like that, not only with gender identification, but with sexuality.
I think that it is wonderful how willing the parents are to nurture and accept their child's true self. :) They get A-plus for parenting!
Well you know, when those children grow up and it's not "just a phase" they're going to thank their parents for letting them grow up as themselves instead of getting angry and forbidding them from doing the things that let them express their gender.

Exactly, and even if it is just a phase....so what?  Either way, let the kid be who they want to be.
