Hello fellow nerdfighters ^^.
I just recently joined and I am proud to say that this is the first club I have joined thus far.
I'm not bisexual or lesbian, but I do advocate the freedom of choice. And its perfectly fine to choose who you love - itr's never a sin.
I still don't fully comprehend why people do discriminate if it doesn't affect them negatively in any way. I guess "difference" just scares people.

My friend and I have begun plans to start a GSA at our high school! Ooh, I'm so excited ^^

I haven't technically 'come out' - because I don't feel the need to tell my friends "hey guess what? I'm white" so I don't see why I have to sit people down and be like "It's no big deal, but I'm bisexual". Sure a few people have straight-up asked me for clarification, but other than that I assume that most people get it by some of the things I say; if not, well, nobody's hurting for it.

I am pretty young, but I think I am a lesbian. I don't feel the need to come out to a bunch of people,( although I told my best friend) because I'm not absolutely sure, and I want to leave myself room, should I ever feel differently.

I don't know if this has been posted, as I'm too lazy to look through 174 wall comments and however many posts on the forum, but I've recently become addicted to this song and video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuDJmVkPYpw

Lily Allen is my new hero. The song is called "F*** you very much" (I hope the use of the swear didn't offend anyone) and it's fantastic.

Hey guys, there's an interesting video on speakers@google, a lecture by Ben Summerskill, "Chief Executive of the UK-based Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual equality organisation Stonewall, now the largest gay equality body in Europe." A lot of it is about workplace equality which may not be an issue for many of you yet, but which could be in the future. In connection to that, he also talks about homophobic bullying in schools, and how, if this is not challenged by the schools, these prejudices are carried forwards when the pupils join the workforce later on. It's almost an hour long, but really worth the watch:

Yeah I'm honestly thinking this should be in a thread.
