@Holly My GSA has three types of meetings that we rotate on: Social meetings where we bring cards, games, a Wii, food, etc., and just hang out the whole time; Political meetings (which I run) I bring topical news stories to discuss, or plan things that we can do to fight for equality; Support meetings (which we haven't had yet) where we'll sit in a circle and allow people to discuss pretty much whatever, but I suppose Luke (the guy I founded it with) and I will guide the discussion.

Everyone...watch this video and if you can be a part of the counter protest against Westboro Baptist Church here in St Louis on January 7th, that would be wonderful. No group that hates this much should be able to call themselves a church.

I was in an argument with this guy I know at my school, I was explaining to him being gay wasn't a choice, and he said "Well, why don't they not date anyone so they won't go to hell? The reason why it's a sin is because they can't have children", THEN I said to him "That's ridiculous to ask that of them, and what about adoption, if not having children is a sin then what about straight people who don't want kids, and women who can't get pregnant?" and he said "Um man I don't know! Whatever!"
So yeah, Totally GSA'd his ass!

I have to agree with Canaries Skip. I'm fairly certain I'm not Gay, but the issue of Gay people not being able to get married on most states is stupid. Have you ever looked up marriage in a dictionary? I officially hate Webster. If I wrote my own dictionary the definition would be "A domestic union between two consenting adults."

Awesome thing you've done here. Down with bigotry!

Came across this and thought it was brilliant: "Gay marriage should just be called marriage. When two chinese people get married, do we call it chinese marriage? When two assholes get married, do we call it asshole marriage?"

I really wish I could go to a GSA, there is one in my area, but it's at a school, and I am unschooled. I'm really jealous of anyone who has a GSA in their area, and can attend!

The GSA I founded with a friend had it's first meeting yesterday! The turnout was amazing, there were about forty people (we barely fit in the meeting room), and they all seem really motivated about the club. Yay!

I don't think it's random...I mean, think about which group this is...and I'd feel the same way dating a girl. As much as I have wanted to I've never yet had the chance and it'd be completely new.
But I'm good with the guys.

I just started dating this guy...it is kind of awkward...I have never dated a guy and I let him know that it's like starting over. I mean I am all for thinking of people as people and not genders but it's the way that they act...I cant say I hate the way a guy who loved paintball and Halo act but it is different from my lipstic ladies I have always dated...

I just felt like posting this...sorry it's kind of random.
