Did Pottermore sort anyone into the wrong house, and as hard as they try to identify with that house, it just isn't them?
I've noticed that its hard to get sympathy for those who think they were sorted into the wrong house, so here is a place for those to tell us why they think the sorting hat got it wrong.

Permalink Reply by Jessica Cottingham on February 12, 2012 at 1:44pm I guess, but I am pretty multidimensional. Around different people, I act differently. That's kind of who I am, and I find that a little manipulative since I use this talent to my advantage. And that screams Slytherin for me. But I'm also more bookish, shy, and smart. Ravenclaw features. I am not brave by any means, and I can't find anything or have any tactfulness. Try and figure that out.

Permalink Reply by Jackie Meyer on February 12, 2012 at 6:50pm It's amazing. I downloaded the free preview, immediately bought it even though it involved going to the website on my phone and getting it to transfer to the app which is a bit of a pain, and read it in two days. lol I think it is the most engaging book I read in the past year or two.
Permalink Reply by Devina on February 13, 2012 at 4:50pm I've always identified with Slytherin (and anyone who's seen a certain side of me can't deny it) but I got sorted into Ravenclaw, which was my second choice of house. Before I took the test I was chanting "not gryffindor" oddly enough. So while it wasn't wrong, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. And really, since it's just the personality and not personal choice, I'm happy with it, because I can see the Claw in me, but if it were the real sorting hat I'd ask it for Slytherin.
Permalink Reply by Bethany Miscannon on July 19, 2012 at 10:25am I was sorted into Slytherin and absolutely love my house! Going into the Pottermore sorting I was extremely nervous, not because I wanted a certain house, but didn't know what I wanted. In retrospect, my first clue should have been not wanting Gryffindor at all.

Permalink Reply by November Payne on October 1, 2012 at 10:26am I would have liked to have been sorted into Ravenclaw. But I suppose Hufflepuff fits me too.
Permalink Reply by Ruth Bernando Fernando on October 3, 2012 at 5:43am I got sorted into Gryffindor, which I have mixed feelings about. On one hand I do consider myself pretty brave in that I'm always putting myself out of my comfort zone, but I value the attributes of a Hufflepuff most and think that I'm more kind than brave. Still, I like to think that Jo knows best. :)
