Pottermore Sorting Hat

I registered early for Pottermore and heard that JK Rowling had made a Sorting Hat quiz for it, and you're stuck with the house you're sorted into.  Is anyone else nervous that they won't get the house they felt they belonged in?  I have tons of Ravenclaw merch and it'd really suck if I got into Gryffindor, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff.  The Sorting Hat considers your choice as well, but I'm still a little nervous. Though, I am quite excited to see what house I'm sorted in.  Especially since JK Rowling made the quiz herself.  Any other opinions?

*100% oops I meant 100% xD lol. But yeah, I do think they're kind of cliche. I know a lot of people who wouldn't be in Gryffindor but say they are just because Harry is. But Im the opposite of brave, and Im a total Ravenclaw. Im an individual, clever, witty, intellect, and creative. And even if that isn't enough, Im hardworking, patient, fair, and dedicated like a Hufflepuff. I feel like Im anything but a Gryffindor, yet I was sorted into it :/

bummer. I find myself a ravenclaw, but i've been sorted into gryffindor a lot, so i'm really trying to see the good in them, because i really wanna be loyal to my true house as assigned by JK . . . .i'm finding it hard. :| I shall join your club of sadness whenever I get the effing e-mail!!!!

The same exact thing happened to me! I've considered myself to be a huffleclaw for 7 years and was 100% sure I'd get sorted into one of those. But apparently I'm a gryffindor too :P I'm not brave or chivalrous in the least!

maybe ravenclaw+hufflepuff=gryffindor? since the exact same thing happened to both of us xD

I got ravenclaw, but I don't think I'm smart enough to be one. The last question asked me which I would rather be though, a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, so the sorting hat does consider your choice.

i have had nightmares of being sorted into the wrong house...particularly Hufflepuff... and i have to wait until october...COUNTDOWN STARTS NOWW!!!!

their sort of the extras and for the people who are  or want to Be Hufflpuff it's more than just being left over but since hufflpuff was rather undifined when people have house worries (say they want to  be in slythern) "I failed spanish i can't be a ravenclaw." "I'm a slytherin we're gryffindor." "I can't be a hufflepuff..."

the main problem is no one knows what the hell a hufflepuff is. ok they're loyal (so are ravenclaws gryffindors and slytherins to their own houses)

i think the hufflepuff hate stems from not knowing what a hufflpuff is and being able to unload all your worried into that void of not knowing.

That is because Hufflepuff is the least boastful of the 4 houses. Hufflepuffs are not just loyal they are the "good ones". Everyone has a little bit of each house. Gryffindors are the brave ones. Ravenclaws are smart. Slytherins are smart too but put themselves before others; they have survival instincts. Hermione could have been in Ravenclaw for her brains but her bravery outstood her intelligence. And Cedric could have been a Gryffindor but he's more of a good person than a brave person. House Hufflepuff has probably never produced a Dark Wizard compared to the other houses especially Slytherin. Also, I like the mystery about Hufflepuff. For one thing it's the only House in which we don't see the common room in the books. I don't think it's because the house is undefined. I think it's just because the house is well kept to itself, you know? Another thing, the House emblem is the badger. Everyone knows that badgers are innocuous creatures until you try to hurt them; then they turn on you. I think Hufflepuffs are like that, they are calm, down to earth people, but they can put up a good fight if they have to defend themselves or what they love. One of the best characters in HP books is Tonks and she is most definitely a proud Hufflepuff :]
