What happened to Umbrige and other members of the Ministry who blindly followed it even durrin Voldemort's reigin?

Hey fellow NerdFighters I was just wondering what you think happened to those in the Ministry who followed it blindly durring Voldemort's reign (expect Percy I feel like because he came back durring the battle and relized the Ministry isn't always right). Thanks and DFTBA.

while i'd love to think Shacklebolt cleans house, but the sad fact is, a lot of the yesmen and nasties probably stay.

The sad truth is that there probably simply weren't enough qualified and trained people available for the Ministry to be able to kick all of the yesmen out (and to be fair, many of the people who stayed probably were either 1) terrified into staying, which makes most people, and/or 2) didn't get the chance to get out while they could, and were subsequently trapped by threats to loved ones, etc.). So there was probably not that radical of a personnel shift post-Voldy.

According to JK Rowling, Umbridge and a few others were given life sentences in Azkaban, the rest were killed in Hogwarts

I'd like to think that Umbridge died a horrible death. For instance...

1. Thrown into a pit full of poisonous snakes and slowly eaten alive.

2. Chucked in Askanban and slowly driven mad and then escaped only to be killed by a grim reaper (I don't care if they're not in the books, I'm fantasizing.)

3. Trampled to death by centaurs (which actually almost happened! :) )

4. I could think of more, but I don't feel like it. Can you tell I hated her more than Voldemort? Trust me, I'm not a bad person, but I couldn't stand that woman.

They all have thier merits. And it would have been refreshing to have more that just Sirius die in Order of the Phoenix
